November Commission meeting to be held in Sheridan, public comment welcomed
The Wyoming Game and Fish Commission’s November meeting is approaching, and the public will have the chance to hear important information and offer comments. The meeting is November 9-10, 2016 in Sheridan, Wyoming at the Best Western Conference Center, 612 North Main Street.
Agenda topics at the November Commission meeting include: furbearing and trapping regulations approval of investment in Wyoming’s Mule Deer Initiative projects a progress update on the new Game and Fish Laramie office and forensics lab and information on Wyoming’s moose management and a proposal to initiate a new moose research study project in the Snowy Range.
The Commission will also hold a joint meeting between the Wyoming Game and Fish Commission, Wyoming Board of Agriculture, and the Wyoming Livestock Board to discuss mutual issues of importance, including: statewide bighorn sheep population trends bighorn sheep disease research update implementation of the Wyoming plan in the Bridger Teton National Forest brucellosis Update and Brucellosis Study in the Bighorns.
