Often ignored due to its location near the large North Platte Reservoirs, Dome Rock Reservoir is a small but productive water. It is a remote, isolated water on the sagebrush plains which is managed for large trout.

From Casper, take Highway 220 southwest to the Alcova store. Turn left, go 19 miles south on Country Road 407 (Kortes/Cottonwood Road) to the lake on the left side of the road..
