Jim Bridger Power Plant Surge Pond impounds the Humphrey Draw River and is used for drinking water, power plant cooling and other general purposes. This earthen filled dam was completed in 1989. The dam height is 97 feet and is 810 across. The pond is part of the Jim Bridger coal fired power plant... Log in for additional details...

From Rock Springs take Interstate 80 east. Take exit 130 turn north under the Interstate and turn right onto Point of Rocks I-80 service road, Wyoming 377. Follow to reservoir on left.
