Willow Lake is one of the glacially carved lakes in the Pinedale area. Under the shadow of the Wind River mountains, these lakes are commonly referred to as the "Finger Lakes" due to their shape. Like fingers, the six waters are all long, slender-shaped natural lakes and have very cold water. The area around these lakes is also knows for its high concentration of animal and human fossils. Turn on County Road 119 just north of the town of Pinedale. Follow signs to WGFD Habitat Unit.
Continue through the Habitat Unit on County Road 119 until you reach Willow Lake.
