The New Fork Lake(s) sit nestled between two glacially carved hills (moraines), with the upper lake reaching into the steep walled canyon carved by the New Fork River. New Fork is one of the Finger Lakes in the Pinedale region of the Bridger-Teton National Forest. Some refer to the waters as two lakes while others term it as one. From Pinedale, go north on Wyoming Highway 352. Turn right (east) on New Fork Lake road (may also be signed as Forest Road 732) and continue to the lake.
Note: In the winter the New Fork Lake Road is not plowed but snowmobiles (or possibly 4-wheelers) may be used to get to the lake. There is a parking area just off Highway 352.
