General Details:

Jenny Lake in Grand Teton National Park was formed approximately 12,000 years ago by glaciers pushing rock debris which carved Cascade Canyon and depositing the debris which now impounds the lake. The lake is estimated to be 423 feet deep.

Getting there:

Follow U.S. 26/89/291 19 miles north of the town of Jackson. Turn left (west) at Moose Junction and follow Teton Park Road north to the lake.
