Lake: Seminoe Reservoir

Seminoe water temp?

Post By: Gurnman      Posted: 7/6/2020 7:11:46 AM     Points: 244
Does anyone have a temperature reading recently? Im looking to take the kids to a place where they can swim and play in the water. Is the water warm enough here and will i be able to find a nice spot to play pretty easy?

Thank you.

Was there 2 weeks ago. Water is a little cool but you get used to it. Water level is dropping. There are plenty of places to play if you know the lake. Without a boat try the area just north of the Boat Club all sand and relatively shallow. The 1st road south of the Boat Club road takes you down to some good spots as well and is private land so no state park fees. Down at the State park section on the south end by the dam has good spots as well. Main thing to watch for is the wind forecast as the sand gets miserable in high winds. With dropping water levels some places will be muddy.
