Thx ! Great fish!! Especially the rainbow!!! I went Saturday and fished in 30 fow. I had fish come in at different depths all day and had a couple of hits but missed them. I am trying to target the silvers (prespawn age) kokes. I had a great day out but caught the skunk. Maybe next time!
I showed up late on 2/2 after fishing through Walden because I saw that 8lb tournament winning trout. The afternoon bite in our area was slow. Didn't mark anything cruising off the gravel beds at all.
I wanted to ask anyone else who targets Kokanee on occasion- Lake Dillon in Summit County, CO has some awesome Kokanee catching through December if you want to fill a smoker. Would the same tactics/colors/baits work at Hattie?

Ventured back out this weekend. Kokes came through in schools between perch bites. Kokes seemed active mid water column. Preference was on tiny jigs (1/32-1/16) tipped with spike worms. Gotta keep the tiny perch off your lure though.
