The $50,000.00 boat ramp at Marsh Creek will be demolished, costing $5,000.00, if the county (sweetwater) does not take over ownership from
the U.S. Forrest Service.
It doesn't cost anything to keep it open. From my POV, it sounds like
the forest service doesn't want anything to do with it any more.
The artical says something about road agreements needing looked
at but that's all the detail given.
The ramp is built and paid for already, why just spend more money to
take it out? Just doesn't make sence to me.
The artical was in today's Rocket Miner newspaper. And like many
articals, it was pretty vague.
