My goal for this summer is to figure out how to catch one of those monsters. I have never caught one and I've been chasing them with a fly rod, but I will take them however I can get one.

I saw that there is Carp too be found in WY.

The mid-spring is the best time for carp in CO. which is
the early-mid "spring-summer".LOL!
WTH is that?? you ask?

Well here in Co. it all depends on "ice-off"
Carp are a lot like Pike and move into the shallows
to spawn-This is (in my opinion) the best time to target them.
But I CPR'ed my PB in 98degree weather..

That's my wifes favorite fish to catch.
I hope she can hook one of them huge ones from the Gorge this year!

After watching fishful thinker today, I can't wait to carp fish the gorge!

I had forgot about this carp my wife caught fish a wind blown dam on a jointed rapala.

That Fishful Thinker "Euro" carp episode certainly helped to fill my email inbox with questions from people about carp fishing in general. If anyone ever has any carp questions, just post them here, or drop me a note, and I will endeavor to answer them as best I can...
