We started FishExplorer in 2006. The Winter Giveaway started meagerly late that year, actually early 2007, with a giveaway of 30 ISE tickets. The next winter it blossomed into something a bit bigger, and in 2008 became more of what resembles our giveaway today. In that time we've given away almost 800 prizes.
The
Winter Giveaway started out as a way to thank you members for contributing to FishExplorer, and it remains that way today. So much is required to maintain such a vast resource for fishing information, I sincerely thank all of you who have contributed in any way over the past 13 years. I'm looking forward to the next 13.
