BROOKLYN CENTER, MN -The worldwide online public voting for the 2016 People's Choice Award is open for Wildlife Forever's State-Fish Art Contest. As the saying goes ... the one with the most votes wins!
The People's Choice last year was a jumping brook trout watercolor, titled "A Leap of Faith", by Cynthia Li, a talented 5th grader from New York. The online viewers cast over 10,000 votes and viewed individual images over 30,000 times!
All 162 first place state and international winners are available for online voting until midnight July 31, 2016. You can vote once a day per image. To vote go to: http://www.wildlifeforever.org/contest/vote

The 18th Annual State-Fish Art EXPO will be held at the FLW Cup, world championship of bass fishing. Fans, projected at 60,000, will be able to vote on Friday, August 5th in Huntsville, Alabama, The People's Choice Award winner will be announced August 6th.

About the State-Fish Art Contest
The award-winning Wildlife Forever State-Fish Art Contest is celebrating its 18th year of bringing children, art and aquatic conservation together. To enter, young artists create an original illustration of any official state-fish and one page of writing detailing its behavior, habitat, and efforts to conserve it. Entries are categorized in four grade levels: K-3, 4-6, 7-9, and 10-12. Educators nationwide utilize Fish On!, the FREE full-color State-Fish Art Lesson Plan, integrating the disciplines of science and art.
