Austin Parks Auditorium Shores Construction Project Begins

The Austin Parks and Recreation Department in conjunction with the Austin Parks Foundation will start construction on the West Lawn of Auditorium Shores on Friday, December 20, 2013. The Auditorium Shores Improvement Project will make it necessary for different sections of the park to be temporarily closed to the public during the projects construction phases. The Ann and Roy Butler Hike and Bike Trail will remain open throughout the project’s construction however trail users may be minimally impacted with planned trail detours.
