Falcon Reservoir impounds the Rio Grande River between the US and Mexico. Finished in 1954 this 83,000 acre water is considered one of the top largemouth fisheries in the state, if not the country. Catfishing is also quite good. If you plan on fishing the Mexico side you will need a Mexico fishing license. Located near Zapata
