Lake Grapevine covers nearly 8,000 acres and is managed by the US Army Corps of Engineers. The main body of water is just north of the City of Grapevine. Getting there:
Per US Army Corps of Engineers: Grapevine Lake is located north of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and south of Denton, Texas. The north side of the lake is almost entirely within the town boundaries of Flower Mound, Texas in Denton county. The south side of the lake is located in Grapevine, Trophy Club and Southlake, Texas in Tarrant County.
