Mackenzie Reservoir

Lake Mackenzie is located 12 miles northwest of Silverton. Build as a water supply reservoir, it also provides numerous recreational activities. As with many Texas waters, largemouth bass are the most sought after species with most fish in the 2-4 pound range. Anglers will also find excellent numbers of crappie and good catfishing.
