TPWD’s Inland Fisheries district office in Fort Worth is responsible for managing and monitoring Lake Ray Hubbard’s fishery. Each fall they conduct a nighttime electrofishing survey on Lake Ray Hubbard. Electrofishing, commonly known as “shocking,” uses electricity to temporarily stun fish, which are then collected using dipnets, measured and weighed.
Robertson Park - From I-30, take the Dalrock exit. Two ramps lie south of the freeway, one to the west and one to the east along Launch Circle. On the north side of the freeway, the ramp is to the west off of Cooke road.
Lakeside Marina - From I-30, take Dalrock exit, cross interstate and turn right onto service road. Go right on Cooke Drive and left on Pecan Road.
Paul Jones Park - From I-30, take Chaha Road north to Zion, left on Zion to park.
Harbor Bay Marina - From I-30, take Horizon/Ridge Road exit. Turn left on Horizon, cross interstate, go past service road and turn left onto Windjammer Way follow to lake.
Rockwall Ramp - From Rusk street (Texas 66) in Rockwall, take Willow Bend north just east of Ray Hubbard bridge.
Terry Lane Ramp - From I-30, take Ridge Road (FM 740) south to Smirl (FM1140), Smirl to Terry Lane then west on Terry Lane to ramp.
Chandler's Landing - Take I-30 east to Ridge Road exit, turn right on
