Lake Buchanan
This Colorado River Reservoir has a surface area of over 22000 acres and depths over 100 feet. Lake Buchanan was completed in 1937. This wildly fluctuating impoundment is best known for its striped and white bass, but does produce well for largemouth and Guadalupe bass also. Blue, channel, and flathead catfish are present in reasonable numbers. Located near Burnet
