Lake Tawakoni
Lake Tawakoni is located 15 miles southeast of Greenville on Caddo Creek and the South Fork and Cowleech Fork of the Sabine River. A large reservoir with 37,879 surface acres, it w as finished in 1960. Its waters are typically mildly stained and fluctuate several feet.
