TPWD management notes per John Tipps, "Belton is currently managed for a quality black bass fishery, including arguably the best smallmouth bass fishery currently in Texas. It also has an excellent hybrid striped bass and white bass population. Anglers also do well fishing for white crappie, and all three species of catfish. "... Log infor additional details...

Belton/Stillhouse Hollow Lake Office: From IH-35, take US 190 , West, 2 miles to FM 1670. Turn left and proceed 2 miles. The office is located on the right adjacent to the Stillhouse Hollow dam. Address: 3740 FM 1670, Belton TX 76513. 254/939-2461
Westcliff Park: From IH-35, take 6th Ave, then proceed West, 2 miles, to Main Street (SH317). Go North, on Main, 3 miles to FM 439 and then West on 439, 6 miles to Sparta Road.
