we are at lake somerville this morning and there is absolutely no wind. we were gonna do some drifting for catfish, but i guess we will go to plan b and try some anchoring in the trees. i will send a report later.
we are using shad for drifting and shad and punch bait for anchoring. the shad are very easy to catch, but the fish do not seem to be biting them very good. in 6-10' of water you can catch as many shad as you need.

i tried to enter a report last nite, but got an email back that it did not go to lloyd. this is not the first time this has happened, so maybe he will check into this. we did pretty good late yesterday. i did put on a picture of a few of the channel cats. we are heading back out this morning, but as of right now, absolutely no wind.

Your'e right no email notification, but the update was there and I marked it up with 50 points for each data point instead of the 5 points it was showing. Thanks for the update and I'll check into why the email notices aren't working. For anyone else that wants to do an update I'll give 50 points for each data point entered.
hey lloyd, i don't think the internet is sending you all the updates. i had put a 2nd one in for somerville and it has not showed up and i also sent you a request to be lake skipper for somerville and have heard nothing back.
