I actually caught some fish Sunday! Broke the Skunk!

Saturday not a single bite, continuing my cold season skunk. Sunday I caught about 20 bluegills, not big ones, but eating size anyway. I put them all back. I was one happy camper. Caught them on gulp 1/2" minnows. Love those things.

Sunday was good in terms of fish catching for me too. All small trout. But bad in the ice got polished to a slick surface and I went from vertical to horizontal in a nano-second. Besides a bruised ego, I figure the rest of me will quit hurting some day.

I'd sure love to catch a few gills myself. Soon, very soon.

I don't know about you, but I don't bounce nearly as well as I used to.

I need a multiple fish day soon!
And, I'm determined to use the gulp minnow this year!

I've had good results with the 1/2" ones and nothing on the 1" ones. But you know how that works, next week it could be just the opposite.

It's getting that time of year in that neck of the woods. Congrats on the catching. Wish I could say the same.
