I'm going to be down by Mackenzie just south of Amarillo later this week. I will have some down time and would like to wet a line or two... Any suggestions? Baits, locations, or even a different body of water? Thanks in advance!
I've never been there, but a quick look at the lake shows it's 92 feet below normal pool. That may open up areas that you wouldn't normall get to see - the best info I found on fishing it was fairly typical of Texas lakes - fishing timbered areas, creek inlets, that sort of thing. After you get back a report would be fantastic.
