Lake: Lake Austin

A good day on :Lake Austin

We had a good day on Lake Austin on 3-27. Caught about 25, with a few in the 4-6 pound range. We did not catch the big girl we were looking for, but had absolutely beautiful weather, nice breeze, cloud cover (which are perfect conditions for the clear Lake Austin water). Yes, they are spawing.
Make long casts with sinko's or flukes, in shallow water 3-8', and you will catch 'em. The fish are a little spooky, so stealth is the word.
Water temps were 68 near Lake Travis Dam and 75 near the 360 bridge.

BTW, that Bass Cat can hunt 'em up and catch 'em
