I have fished Ray Roberts several years ago with moderate success. Mostly from the bank catching crappie, bluegill, and a few cats. I'm going to be in the area for the next couple of weeks and was wondering if anyone has any catfishin' tips for Ray Roberts. I'm planning on doing some camping in the Ray Roberts State Park and hope to do some night catfishin either from the kayak or the bank. I'm assuming the standard worms, shrimp, cut bait will work but if any of you have any suggestions on baits or locations it would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Punch bait under a slip cork back in the timber in buck creek almost always produces.
