Winter Giveaway Thanks

We are over halfway done with the Winter Giveaway, time is ticking down to get those entries in. If you've been following us on Instagram, you have seen that we've been giving thanks to all our brand partners. It wouldn't be possible without their generosity, so please do check out their websites in the coming weeks, and use the promo codes we have up here on the site. 

In addition to the brand partners, the giveaway also couldn't be possible without all the individuals who have contributed towards the giveaway. First and foremost, a HUGE thank you to Matt Snider. This contest consumes him during this time of year, working tirelessly to get everything up and running. That, and his willingness to offer up a fly fishing experience every year for one of you. I don't think any of us realize just how much time he spends devoted to this site and all of us members. Thanks for doing this year over year, Matt. 

We also want to thank Kevin OKonek (Kev-O) and Jim McFarland (anglerwannabe) for offering up their spinning rod and reel combo. These are two guys who know what it takes to catch fish around this beautiful state, so you can rest assured it will help you get plenty of fish in the net. We have another rod being offered up by Tyler Muth (GoNe_FiShin_11) for all you ice fishers out there, it's not every day you get to win a handmade rod. Last in the way of "goods" from our regional editors are the Fish Explorer flags that Bill Rottmann (RPG) had made. No better way to signal yourself to other members while on the water or on the ice. 

The giveaway wouldn't be complete without the experiences, and there are some great ones available thanks again to some of our members. Most of you know Bill Hadley (Anteroman) as the authority when it comes to the 3 South Park reservoirs. Jim may try to argue that at least with Eleven Mile, but we don't need to get into that here. At any rate, Bill has been gracious enough to offer a day on the float tube on the hunt for those huge South Park trout, which we're extremely grateful for. 

If smaller trout and longer hikes are your thing, Lance Cayko (ND Transplant) has been kind enough to offer up a trip up to one of the high alpine lakes he frequents. You will catch fish, and you will see a much more secluded side of Colorado in the process. Thanks Lance!

Lastly, for those wanting to get into some great walleye or some other warm water species down at Pueblo Reservoir, we thank Russ Orlowitz (SGM) for offering up his annual walleye trip. He knows the area and the lake well, so you won't be disappointed.
