Gearing up for the Winter Giveaway - starts Friday!

I cannot believe it is that time of year again.  This week I am polishing up prize details for another Winter Giveaway, the annual tradition now in its 14th year I think.  

The FishExplorer Winter Giveaway will begin this Friday - you will be able to submit your first entry at 5am on the 19th.  The rules have been slightly altered this year, hopefully giving you more chances to enter than in previous years.  Obviously if you have points or a subscription you will be able to submit an entry more often, that’s always been the case.  But now with points you will be able to enter more frequently than in years past, same with a subscription, and combine both, you’ll get even more.

We have a bunch of newcomer partners adding to this year’s treasure chest of prizes, and some oldies but goodies.  We are still working on bringing it all together, there could possibly be more added, but for now you can get a glimpse of the companies involved on this WG preview page.

If you haven’t submitted a report in a while, go help update a lake or update a river – or heck a few of them – to earn some more points and more entries into the Winter Giveaway of 2021! We’ll talk more on Friday.

PS – For those that don’t know what the Winter Giveaway is, here it is in a nutshell… it starts Friday, ends Dec 31, you log in, choose prizes you would like to try to win, and submit the entry.  Do that as often as the rules allow.  In early January we pick random winners for each prize.  The event is a big “thank you” to all who contribute to FishExplorer.
