Yesterday was a decent fishing day. Caught a couple of large bluegills, several carp (one pictured below) and a surprise catfish.
My wife caught a really nice drum on her brand new fishing rig that she had just picked out and purchased that morning.
I'll take days like this any time, and it was something of a surprise because a norther blew in the previous night and dropped the temperature quite a bit, with a stiff north wind too.

Nice, I have noticed that the first cold fronts of the fall actually turn the fish on some times.....
