What fishing pranks do you and your buddies pull on each other?

Just a silly story of what "kids" do to get a laugh.
While fishing a couple years ago my buddy found a pair of ladies underwear on the shore. I nice rainbow, not brown, colored thong. He pointed it out on the ground as we walked by.
I had no clue he picked it up until I found it in my truck glove box a few days later. And there it started. It was my turn to give (hide) it back to him. We hide it where we think the other will find it while others are near by.
The best one so far goes to him! I was out on the boat last year when a state park ranger pulled up and asked for the fishing licence, AIS sticker and registration. As I open the pocket that the licence are in I feel something fall out. It's the thong! It fell out right in front the the ranger! Oh man, what a look! (yes, I had to tell him the story)
Yes it's pretty dumb and childish but it works for us.

The best one I ever did was to wire up a "back up" horn to my buddy's vehicle, so when he started backing up the boat in the dark, the horn started going off....He jumped out several times until he figured it out. FYI, he left it installed for years....he thought it was cool being the only one with a back up horn like the big dump trucks!

On a slow day *Accidentally* bump a tip up so flag would go off. Call flag and buddy would go running😈

As the net guy,I like to "miss" a net job on purpose.(but only on a fish that I can see is well hooked)It's even better if its a BIG fish that can bust off!

An oldtimer I knew, (he's since passed and gone to that great river in the sky,) was always pranking someone. One of his best was when he hid a small bit of stink bait behind the seat of the pickup of one of his buddies. Even though it was summer, it still took awhile before the guy found it! 😝

Using monofilament line, I like to tie a 3ft rubber snake to the underside of the live well latch so that when the live well lid is opened, the snake comes out. I've had fishing buddies scream like a school girl and had some threaten to kick my butt but it's always hilarious.

So this is a pretty good one. It works best with 3 fishing buddies and a bit murky water.
have two friends cross the river in front of the other friend, and when you are in about knee/thigh deep water, start crunching down with each step. (the invisible staircase) make sure the two fisherpeople in front holler and yell about how you're going down and it's getting really deep, but just keep on going forward. The reaction that the friend behind gives when deciding whether to "save you" or turn back due to nerves is pretty hilarious.
