Should we wear life jackets?

I've said it before, and it happened to me one time in 40 years of tournament fishing....
It's just a matter of time before there is some sort of accident, steering failure, etc
Watch the following to see how quickly it can happen. Be safe out there! Regards

There are life vests nowdays that are comfortable, light and cool. It's not like you have to wear one of those 12" thick kapok vests these days. Get one that's comfortable and you won't mind wearing it, and you have radically improved your chances of not becoming a small article in the local paper.

I'm in the habit of wearing them all the time I'm fishing from a watercraft of any kind.

Save your money and buy one of the smal inflatable vests. If not, you'll only drown once.

Great article and video. It goes to show that odd things can happen at any time. I spent the money on a nice one and will always wear it.
