CPW issues reminder about educating yourself on ice safety guidelines
Good, solid clear ice is the safest. Four inches of ice is generally considered safe for people ice fishing and ice skating. However, off-highway vehicles, or OHVs, need at least six inches of ice thickness. Anyone going out onto the ice should drill test holes to measure thickness as they venture out

Sportfishing Industry Celebrates House Passage of America’s Conservation Enhancement Act
The U.S. House of Representatives passed without objection America’s Conservation Enhancement (ACE) Act, a historic package of bills to benefit fish and wildlife conservation throughout the nation. With the U.S. Senate unanimously passing the ACE Act on September 16, it now moves to President Trump who can sign it into law.
