Remembering Worms
I may not use them for bait any more, but that doesn't mean I've forgotten about fishing with them. This mornings walk in the rain stirred up memories as I stepped around numerous worms on the sidewalk.

Life and death are part of ours lives. When a fellow angler departs this world, we can't help but morn our loss. Fishing partners are hard enough to come by as it is. But I guess, that's the price we pay for getting to fish another day.

Do you wear your PFD? Why not?
Why worry about things you can't do anything about, and not worry about the things you can? When we play around water, such as fishing, we put ourselves at increased risk of drowning. Wearing a PFD greatly reduces that risk.

Lake Fork Fishing Tournament Article is Up
The last weekend of May there was a fly fishing tournament for bass, held at Lake Fork, Texas. I met up with Lloyd and we fished it as a team. Lloyd spearheaded an article about the event, and I added some to it. We posted the article today.

With the plethora of tying materials available to tiers, are synthetics better than natural materials? It depends on the application, but there's a lot to be said for the variation in natural materials.

Quit worrying: Winter is here to stay, and so is the ice
If you'd stayed awake in science class you'd know that it take a lot of energy to convert ice to water or water to ice. Consequently, since we have good ice caps, then next few warm days wont' change that much.
