Winter Giveaway 2015 Starts Now

The winds in Colorado nearly blew our roof off, but it did not blow away the prizes we've gathered for this year's Winter Giveaway. And the great snow event we were to have in Fort Collins missed us completely, which is good because I had all these prizes we're offering sitting out in the yard. Glad the forecasters were wrong.
So back to the event. It is my favorite time of year, when we're able to give a little something back to our members with the help of very generous members, guides, and sponsors. All year long we fish, submit reports, fish some more, post a thread on the forum, fish, submit some pics, fish some more, etc. This keeps FishExplorer.com rolling along so that it is a valuable resource for you. Thank you for your contributions throughout the year to make this possible!
The Winter Giveaway is our annual event where you can pick a couple of fishing prizes from a great assortment for a chance to win, and then repeat daily/weekly until December 31. You simply need an account (free or subscriber) to enter. You get to pick a general pool prize from a range of fishing-related gifts, and also from a pool of free fishing trips with noted anglers. Come early January we'll pick winners randomly from the entries - starting with the most in-demand prizes downward. I'll announce these winners in a blog, and email them individually.

About the Author
Matt Snider is a lifelong fly fisherman who has turned his attention to the "other species" of Colorado, namely any non-trout species. Having caught multiple warmwater species in Colorado on the fly in Colorado, Matt built FishExplorer as a means for anglers to maintain updated lake conditions, an element he finds critical in catching fish and enjoying our resources. An advocate of alternative fly fishing and fisheries preservation, Matt is an avid wiper and muskie fisherman traveling with boat in tow in pursuit of these hard-to-find fish.
