Despite multiple postponements and an ongoing global pandemic AFFTA pulls off a successful trade show at the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City, Utah. Below are some of the statistics collected from the three day show.
IFTD had a total of 850 total registered attendees and 81 exhibitors in 19,400 net square feet in exhibit space that sat on a show floor that had 81,000 gross square feet of space. The IFTD Industry Breakfast had 150 attendees and with the most attendees ever the Dealer Summit had 80 registerents. IFTD had 38 companies enter over 150 products in the New Product Showcase in over 30 categories.
The AFFTA Executive Director, Lucas Bissett, had this to say about IFTD 2022, "Helping to facilitate face to face interactions for the fly fishing industry at IFTD in Salt Lake City was one of the most rewarding experiences of my professional career. This show was not only something myself and Kenneth Andres, our Show Director, wanted this was something that ourselves and our industry needed. While the metrics we used in the past don’t seem to carry the same weight, those who attended the event I spoke with were pleasantly surprised by the turnout and quality of their meetings. That along with bringing everyone together to discuss the future makes IFTD 2022 a major success in my book."
