Tsala Apopka Chain is shallow with heavily vegetated marshes intermingled with three open water pools. The pools are named after nearby towns of Floral City, Inverness and Hernando. Two of these pools have newly constructed fish attractors, one in Inverness Pool and the other in Hernando Pool both are marked with yellow buoys and consist of sunken tree limbs.... Getting there:

Lake access at the north end at Hernando Boat Ramp is off SR41 on E Lake Pl in the town of Hernando.
Lake access at the south end east of Inverness on SR44, ramp will be on your left heading east.
