Tips for a transplant?

Post By: ratherbefishing      Posted: 5/26/2022 7:52:52 PM     Points: 110
Just moved from Colorado to the Orlando area, have fished the last 3 days at 3 of the Fab 5 orlando lakes, John's lake conservation and a few park ponds from the FWC website. Everything from worms and live shiners, cut bait, soft plastics, top ater and couldn't get a single fish let alone anything but turtle bites. Do I need to get farther from the city or am I just doing something wrong? Anything helps, thanks and looking forward to the multitude of species

John's Lake of course is super clear, during summer months I tend to find the bigger bass off snore around the drop offs, bream crankbaits and neutral colored soft baits, senko's usually work bet with very little weight or none at all
