Fish: Largemouth Bass

Florida LMB

Post By: ColoradoDad      Posted: 9/9/2016 1:16:49 PM     Points: 4748
I'll be going to The Orlando area with the family later in the month & I'm hoping to have a few hours here and there to target bass. From what I can tell the Florida strain behaves quite different from northern LMB. My plan is to bring 5" senkos and work them along grass edges. Does anyone have any other pointers to help me catch one? Thanks in advance for your help

Senkos and other weedless lures likes frogs are great for the Lilly and aelge ponds/rivers which is in full affect right now.
Suspending baits during the day and top water early and late
If you can, get off the beaten path and it will reward you

CP- thank you for the pointers. Hopefully I will get a chance to catch one while I am down there.
