On Lake Monroe there were a lot of people slow trolling jigs and using minnows. I was bass fishing but talked to a couple of guys that were crappie fishing.

Speck fishing is good and improving weekly on the Kissimmee River Chain. East Lake Toho has recently taken off with large fish coming from deep water on jigs and minnows.

Lots of nice crappie being caught in the Tsala-Apopka chain in Citrus County.
In the Hernando pool using minnows or jigs. Same thing in the Inverness pool.
Several people reporting limits of fish all over 12" and a few up to 15".
The county along with FWC has installed a number of fish attractors and these seem to be holding a lot of fish especially in morning.
