Part of Series: Winter Giveaway
The FishExplorer Winter Giveaway is an exciting event not only for you, but also for the partners who are involved featuring prizes for you to win. We have several partners back in 2023 that you know from prior years, so I want to take a brief moment today to welcome our newcomers to the WG.

New to the 2023 FishExplorer Winter Giveaway

Bombora
I am always on the lookout for new PFD options and these stood out as I passed their booth at a show recently. They're offering their slim waist pack style, Type III USCG approved floatation device. Stay safe, but more importantly do so comfortably. Visit the Bombora website here, follow on Facebook and Instagram

Disc-O-Bed
These cots caught my eye as I have a small dream to camp in the snow while fishing a remote frozen lake. What better way to save room than a bunkable cot, right? It'll also fold into a bench like a couch. Excited to offer this. You can view more on their website, or follow them on Facebook and Instagram.

Douglas Outdoors
Douglas is based out of upstate New York where I went to college and cut my teeth fly fishing, hunting muskie, and chasing great lakes steelhead. The area holds a special place in my heart, and having met the Douglas folks this summer and their wonderful rods, I am thrilled to have them on board and introduce you to their gear. They're offering their favorite all-around spin rod. You can follow them on Instagram and Facebook, or check out their lineup on their website

Eartheasy
I always carry portable water purifiers with me when I fish.  A big one on the boat and a small one for my fly or back pack. But for car camping? Here's a huge one. Just about 5-gallons of water storage for this purifier. Love it! Their website is here - or follow on Instagram.

Grand Trunk
I have a couple of stools I use for ice fishing, so I wanted to check out this new stool by Grand Trunk, based out of Utah, that swivels to see if it was up to the hype. It was. I got one and I love it, very comfortable, and I can't wait to get it out on the ice this year. They're coming out with a new taller version very soon. Visit their website, follow them on Facebook and Instagram to find out when.

Hobie Eyewear
We're excited to be offering sunglasses from Hobie Eyewear this year - a 2-lens package with frames.  Hobie started with surfboards, then skateboards, then boats, then polarized sunglasses, then the kayaks you know well and more (yes, the sunglasses preceded the kayaks.) We have an excellent selection of sunglasses for you to win this year.  Follow Hobie on FacebookInstagram, or visit their website.

Kahtoola
Ever wind up feet in the air on rock hard ice? I have and it hurts. So when I saw the spikes by Kahtoola I had to get them in on this. They came on board and are offering their lightweight traction devices that slip on over your shoes/boots. If you don't win a set, I highly suggest you get some this ice season.  View more products on their website, then follow on Facebook and Instagram.

KastKing
Also based out of NY, but with ties to Colorado via an old friend of the site, KastKing has a slew of great fishing gear. I was introduced to their brand new iReel this summer and am looking forward to getting it out on the water. Remarkable what tech can do!  Elated to have them on board - you can win a $125 gift card for anything on their website. Check them out on Facebook and Instagram.

Miss Mayfly
If you are a female angler or have a woman in your life that likes to or wants to fish, here's an absolutely amazing prize for you to win.  Miss Mayfly waders are for women, tailored for women, and come in all shapes and sizes. They look great, perform great and fit great. I'm delighted to feature them here on FishExplorer.  Visit Miss Mayfly's website to learn more, and/or visit their Facebook and Instagram pages.

Nite Ize
Based out of Boulder, CO, you've seen Nite Ize gadgets and gear in retail shops all over the place. So many cool things. You just need to check out their website to see it all. You can win a sampling of fun gear in a prize package here in the giveaway. Follow them on Facebook and Instagram

ORCA
If you're like me you're still swapping out your old coolers for the new heavy-duty good ones.  Here's a chance for you to do that for free.  ORCA is offering a 40qt cooler in the giveaway, and it is seriously good. They offer a wide variety of other sizes and a bunch of accessories, etc. perfect for car camping and tailgates!  See website hereFacebook, and Instagram.

Pure Fishing
You know a ton of the brands from Pure Fishing, and likely own a lot of their gear - some of the most iconic names in the fishing world. In our WG they're offering the new Revo SX reel by Abu Garcia and a host of other fantastic items. I'm fired up that Pure Fishing is on board. See their entire arsenal by starting at their base website, and follow Abu Garcia on Facebook and Instagram.

Ranger Landing Nets
I met the father/daughter team out of Michigan heading up Ranger Nets this summer and got to check out their wide selection of high-quality nets. See all on their website. Truly impressed. Good people to boot. My hope is to get a few heavy duty telescopic muskie-sized nets for our Ontario lodge to replace their old ones. Follow on Facebook and Instagram.

Those are the 2023 newcomers!  Thanks all!

And while I have you, ponder an FxR+ subscription to support us and in return get all that FishExplorer has to offer! As much as we'd love to be able to do this without any costs, the fact of the matter is we need your financial support to keep the lights on and to keep progressing.  Thank you!
