Say Goodbye to 2020, Cast Your Final Winter Giveaway Entries

Well 2020 is about to conclude, and I think most everyone is ready for that (except for all you who got some extra fishing time in this year due to more flexible schedules and the fact that fishing is one of the best outdoor social distancing activities known to man!)  I’m no scientist but it appears we’re not in the clear yet, and we have several more months of this, so if you haven’t yet, get some ice fishing gear and get out on the hard water, and get yourself prepped for some great spring river fly fishing.

With the end of the year comes the end of our 2020 Winter Giveaway, which finishes at midnight New Year’s Eve.  We will announce winners in early January.  I will post a list of winners here on the site, and will be contacting every winner by email.

You still have some time to get an entry or two in, so I thought I’d offer these tips to help you choose wisely.  If you’re planning to win a stayover at Lake John, then you’re in quite the company – social distance yourself and choose a guided trip… and odds are more likely for you if you don’t plan to fish Cherry Creek, the North Park area, or Rifle.  Also, you’d be wise to harden yourself from the anticipation of wearing a new set of Simms waders over heated socks with your new backpack stuffed with a lightweight powerful battery.  Those are in high demand.
