Born and raised in North Dakota, I got spoiled fishing with my Dad in one of the best states for walleye and pike. After a 4 year stint in the Air Force (1971-1975), I moved to Colorado. Not having much walleye action in Colorado, (at that time), I turned to the other and I think grandest fish (IMO, lol.), the mighty lake trout. I fish a lot of the middle park lakes seeking the mightiest, tho I am most often humbled. Both open water, and especially during ice season. I also do enjoy the trout lakes of South Park.
