Hi, my name is Alan and I grew up in Montana. I started bait fishing the rivers near Missoula, Montana at the age of 8. Bait fishing turned into spin fishing, spin fishing turned into fly fishing, fly fishing turned into ice fishing. Now I do all four regularly. I target all and any species.

In 2001, I moved to Colorado to further my education. Not long after moving here, I found out that there were opportunities to target species that weren't found near me in Montana. When I am short on time, I'll stop by the local ponds and chase after the bass with spin gear or carp on my fly rod. On the weekends, I like to head up to mountain lake and streams or larger lakes with the boat.
