The best season to fish this stretch is after spring run-off, from late June through August. Expect a steep gradient, plunge pools, and small waterfalls. Getting There:

From Rollinsville along Hwy 119, drive West on Tolland Road. The road terminates at the Moffat tunnel and a large parking area. A hiking trail leads west into a steep valley. The trail starts along the creek, but soon diverges.
