After the floods, the Saint Vrain in Lyons has rebounded well. Park areas have been rebuilt and the fish are healthy. There are still places here and there that construction crews will be working for the next few years but it will be minimal and only effect the road way, not the river.

From Lyons, turn up hwy 36 to Estes (go right) and go 4 miles to Longmont Dam Rd. Turn Left and follow that up over the hill and around to the parking area. From there the road is considered a private drive way. You must live there to have driving access. but it is an easy walk to wherever you want to fish.
