Getting There:

On the east side of Grand Lake is the East Inlet Trailhead. For the first two miles, the trail gradually climbs along East Inlet Creek, offering plenty of opportunity to fish near the trail. Only a third of a mile from the traihead is picturesque Adams Falls, which is a big draw much of the trail traffic drops off from here. Paradise Creek, just beyond Cat's Lair campsite, offers some incredible fishing for both brookies and Colorado River cutthroat, at the expense, however, of a steep hike following the creek on unimproved trails at best - and don't forget the bug dope.
