Getting There:

From Steve Schweitzer's A Fly Fishing Guide To Rocky Mountain National Park, flyfishingrmnp.com:

Wind River Trail is a great day hike or few hour destination point for the traveler with little time to spare. Within minutes of the trailhead, the trail takes you by plenty of small stream fishing opportunity. The trail profile is deceiving as the first mile or so of the steam has the easiest fishing.
