It looks like Ruedi Reservoir is inches from completely full. Last night at midnight, the reservoir's total content was about 98.8%. Tonight's reading will likely be around 99% full.
The three ponds of River's Edge Natural Area will be open for what is described as "temporary public access" beginning July 4th.
The warm weather is starting to bring down that high elevation snow. We have seen snowmelt inflows to the Big Thompson River start to tick back up again.
We are nearing full at Ruedi Reservoir, but, as we all know, we still have snowmelt coming down from the high country.
We're still seeing snowmelt runoff come down. Denver is increasing releases slightly from Dillon Reservoir and, consequently, we're seeing inflows to Green Mountain pick up.
PHOENIX - The Bureau of Reclamation is seeking public comments on a draft Environmental Assessment (EA) for a proposed fish barrier in Spring Creek, Yavapai County, Arizona.
This afternoon, we made a gate change at Twin Lakes Dam. The resulting release to Lake Creek and the Arkansas River was 780 cfs.
Last weekend, releases from Green Mountain Dam dropped to 700 cfs due to some work at the power plant. That work has completed and this week we have seen releases from the dam to the Lower Blue River start to go back up.
We are getting close to full at Ruedi Reservoir. As a result, we will be bumping up the release from the dam to the Fryingpan River by 50 cfs tomorrow evening before the weekend.
