Aspiring anglers can learn the basics at CPW's Fly Fishing 101 in Grand Junction

Colorado Parks and Wildlife
Experienced anglers will be on hand to teach novices the basics of fly fishing. No experience is necessary and all equipment will be provided. Topics will include insect biology and fishing gear, including rods, reels, flies and casting techniques. Participants will have the opportunity to dry-land cast to sharpen their new skills.

Instructors include members of the Grand Valley Anglers. CPW personnel will talk about laws and regulations.
