Jackson Lake SP opens to boating March 11

Colorado Parks and Wildlife
Boaters are reminded that all boats must be properly registered and equipped in accordance with state law. All vessels are required to be inspected for Aquatic Nuisance Species (ANS) prior to launching.

ANS Inspection Hours

March 11 to March 31: Everyday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Visitor Center.

April 1 to May 15: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Visitor Center Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the inspection station.

May 16 to end of season: Everyday 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the inspection station.

Please help us protect our waters from these destructive creatures. Take time to read park and boating regulations posted at the boat ramp and help to promote safe boating. The ANS Inspection station is located at the main boat ramp. Outside of inspection hours, boats are required to have valid pre-inspection documentation (seal and receipt) prior to launch.

Jackson Lake is ranked one of the "Top 15 Park Beaches" by Reserve America. Anglers, boaters, and naturalists know there’s too much fun to enjoy in just one day!

Colorado boaters are all encouraged to CLEAN, DRAIN, and DRY their boats to prevent the spread of aquatic nuisance species. For more information on boating Colorado’s beautiful state parks, visit:
