Colorado Trout Unlimited will be hosting a telephone town hall tomorrow (Wednesday) evening at 645 pm, featuring a panel of guest speakers including Senator Michael Bennet, with the opportunity for you to ask your questions about public lands issues that concern you as an angler and outdoors-person. You may receive a phone call inviting you to take part, or you can connect directly to the call by dialing: 720-504-3554. If you fish or hunt on public lands, this call is for you! Our moderator, John Gale of Backcountry Hunters and Anglers, will lead the call with a group of guest speakers ready to answer your questions or respond to your comments. Our speakers for the call will be Corinne Doctor, co-owner of Rep Your Water Tucker Ladd, owner of Trouts Fly Fishing in Denver and Chairman of the American Fly Fishing Trade Association and US Senator Michael Bennet. By calling in you can hear the latest on issues like: Keeping public lands in public hands, with access for hunting and fishing Protecting backcountry lands in the Thompson Divide Investing in outdoor recreation and public lands through the Land and Water Conservation Fund Protecting water quality in our headwater and tributary streams And more. Most importantly, just like an in-person Town Hall, the call offers you the chance to ask your questions of our speakers - after brief opening remarks, we'll be jumping right in to caller comments and questions for the bulk of the 1 hour call. To take part, you can dial in at or after 645 pm Wednesday, January 6, to 720-504-3554. If you'd like to learn more about angling and hunting issues for public lands, and to share your questions or stories, I hope you'll join us for this special telephone town hall. Thank you!
